It seems with a lot of my cams with a couple of years under them are showing black, except the first one I bought 20 yrs ago (?) big huge one, is still working, well taking pics anyway. The set up screen is just a bunch of pixel dots, so can't set date, time and stuff.

I Have a wildgame switch that is 1 month old and all black nighttime pix....changed batteries 2 times just to see if it makes difference but does the same. Can you help with this?

Great info, I have this problem with a compiter's cam and getting them to accept it for warranty service is like pulling teeth. I share this video on their FB page every time someone poses the problem. I'm doing best I can to get the word out. Some companies try to benefit from keeping customers ignorant about the inner workings of these cams. Thank you!

Yes..new trail cam and new at this...night is black but see city lights and daytime all pink hue.

You must do heating and air conditioning on the side...you told us what it was doing that we could clearly see...but still didn't fix it or tell us how to fix it....lmao. Of course I have to send it to y'all to fix...smdh...lmao. Get them dollars.

Great video..Quick question thou.. I have a moultrie mobile camera new this year amd i get black photos at night in the field, take it home in a dark room and it works fine, back to field and same problem everytime.. Can a IR filter be weak of low sensitive somehow? Thanks for your time.

I have a campark that is taking black night photos . For months it was working fine . They told me it was batteries but they are brand new energizer Lithium batteries . Its winter here and the Alkalines lose too much voltage in below freezing weather to record a 30 second video .

did you ever fix it? Mine was the same, the solenoid wasn't flicking the filter over, so took the lens off and flicked it over manually. Now it stays on the night setting

Does this guy ever tell HOW to fix it? I have a Moultrie and it says take it to a dark room, make it take a pic in the dark, then the light, and repeat 5 or 6 times to reset the Infared filter.

Take your camera into a completely dark room. Walk or wave in front of the camera so it takes a picture. Turn on the lights and trigger your camera to take another picture. Repeat this process 6 to 8 times in a row.

Chad, thanks for videos! If I’m wanting to try your cams can you relate some info so I know what to expect vs render . ATT and Verizon of a handful Bushnell cell aggressor - few Bushnell impulse - couple Moultrie 7000i - handful SPYPOINT - dark and link evo- . We have a 8 man camp and have our cams on same app per company so the loop is huge to view all cams pics not cam by cam only. M,B,S is my rank of apps I have. Agressor, SPYPOINT , M , impulse better nights. Aggressor , M, Impulse, Spy day pic rank. Spy, Bushnell then M on best data prices. Imp, M, Aggressor, Spy Ease of pics from app to deer lab. Wish I could combine a couple cams and 2 apps to make a cell cam of cell cams. Is render the answer please sir?’
