Be still, and know that I am God. Thank you guys as always . That's the good stuff. I lost my Dad 2years ago, and I've made about 736,543 boottracks making sure that I stepped exactly in his tracks so I'd see what he saw and walk where he walked. I felt that about your GrandDad too my friend. Thanks for sharing your home with us, and Thanks all you guys at Exodus for taking the step from having a great idea with no legs to an actual product that touches people like me. Best of Luck guys.

I feel the same, my Dad grew up hunting up until he got back from the Vietnam war and never hunted again, he spent 45 years driving truck over the road. Thankfully most all of my friends hunted and a couple of my friends families took me under their wing and got me into hunting. God bless and enjoy your family hunts.

I can't wait to take my 3 little girls hunting if they want to go. My oldest is 3 now and she talks about daddy going deer hunting all the time. She has told me several times before I go out scouting that we only shoot deer, not cows, horses, giraffes, and pigs. 😂 She says she wants to go hunting and fishing with her daddy all the time. She also loves snakes like me and talks about catching snakes with me. Really knows how to tug on the ol' heart strings. 😊

I have a question. How do you get an elk from New Mexico to Pennsylvania? I'm a new hunter looking to travel and hunt, but I can't find information on transporting meat.
@ALL-In-Outdoors4 жыл бұрын
I bring my meat home every year. I always drive. It is a 27 hour drive but just easier to deal with the meat and antlers. I take coolers. I will debone the elk in New Mexico pack it in the coolers with dry ice. It will keep till i get home.
@FreeHat4 жыл бұрын
@@ALL-In-Outdoors Thank you for your response. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of cooler? A quick Google search recommends a yeti 210. My response was "an elk fits in there? No friggin way". Do you take the bones with you or do you leave them in the field?
@ALL-In-Outdoors4 жыл бұрын
@@FreeHat I generally take 2 large coolers and it should fit most of your meat. The outfit that I hunt with has a walk in cooler. So we debone all the meat, hang it in the walk in cooler. Load it in our coolers when we are ready to make the trip back to PA.
@FreeHat4 жыл бұрын
@@ALL-In-Outdoors Thank you for this information. I saw your video on PGL tips and it was very helpful. Would you advise a newbie with no experience try out PGL or start out with an outfitter? My plan for PGL was to go on some hikes with a GPS to familiarize myself with the area before hunting season later in the year and attempt my first hunt this year.
@ALL-In-Outdoors4 жыл бұрын
It is more expensive, but if you have the coin, i would highly recommend going with a guide or finding someone to go with you who has a lot of elk hunting experience. Elk hunting is a lot different than treestand hunting like most of us are used to. Having someone teach you is always a good thing.
