Shedinja's ability is wonder guard, which means they only take damage when the move is super effective. Alcremie switched into Arcanine. Shedinja used entertainment on Arcanine, which gave Arcanine the ability wonder guard. Arcanine then used Burn up, a move which gets rid of the user's fire type. Arcanine is souly fire type, meaning it had no type at all after that (which is what the ??? was). Normally, this means that all attacks would cause neutral damage, but because Arcanine had wonder guard, it'll only take damage from super effective moves, so now you can't damage it with any attack. Tl;dr- Shedinja gave Arcanine wonder guard. Arcanine used burn up to get rid of its fire type. Arcanine has no type anymore, so you can't damage it

Not only *can* Gardevoir be male, but it's *just as likely* to be male as female. It's not like the Machop line or especially the starter pokemon situation where while both genders exist in the species, it is prominently one over the other. I guess assuming that Gardevoir is a mono-female species wouldn't be *as bad* in my opinion if it wasn't for the fact that it seems like *everyone* does it.

@@Revived_karlL Shedinja mimicked Alcremie's Entrainment. Now Shedinja has Entrainment to use. Then Alcremie swaps into Arcanine and Shedinja uses Entrainment on Arcanine to give it Wonder Guard. After that, Arcanine uses Burn Up which gets rid of its fire type, its only type. What they're left with is a typeless pokemon with Wonder Guard. Ergo... no type can hit it for super effective damage meaning no regular attacks can damage it.
