@hokk7282 жыл бұрын
Probably missing some details, but my understanding is this. Eeveelutions always have the same base stat spreads, but in different stats. As a result each of them has one stat that has a very high 130 and then a second stat at 110, with the rest somewhere between 60 and 85. For example, Jolteon has the 130 in speed and the 110 in special attack, but for Espeon the BST for those two is flipped with the 130 in sp att and 110 in speed. Vaporeon has the 130 in hp and the 110 in special attack. Combine that with sp Def being the next highest and you have a solid sp Def wall that can hit hard with special attack. And that's what it normally does as it has a low speed in the 60s. And this is why shell smash vaporeon is particularly dangerous as you take that high special attack and double it, then make it twice as fast, and you have an ultra hard htting sweeper that actually has decent bulk

this guy is literally the best definition of what people are supposed to show during games like this: you have to have some confidence in yourself, but also have loads of humility. Most of the toxic players that temp6t fights wear their ego in the most cocky way possible; they can't handle their ego being shattered, like they need to win in order to feel complete. This guy also has that confidence, but instead of portraying it like a mask and making it seem like winning is his only identity and not accepting defeat with the humblest of hearts, the guy shows it like a badge of honor; he's still showing it, but he doesn't make it into what he needs to do. Humility is one of, if not, the most morally justifiable trait that you can bring in any game, its not a matter of knowing 100% that you can win, but its best to think that you can lose in the same thought. Being humble softens that landing because anyone who goes in all cocky like thinking they're obviously going to win won't end well if the opposite happens; you need to go in and think of both at the same time. Obviously, you need some pride in your skill or work, but you also need to show some vulnerability and have the humility to accept anything that happens. Confidence can be shattered, but humility can help rebuild that confidence into something better. I give my absolute props to 16 bit metal for not taking these losses as a knife to the heart but rather a pleasantly annoying time experiencing something you never thought was possible.

A pokemon with 4x weakness to electric, with electric terrain, and rain. What could possibly go wrong?
@MINTY_FN2 жыл бұрын
@@e-d3_4all0ut3 Why would rain matter? Rain doesn't boost electric type moves. It just makes Thunder (which he wasn't using) bypass the accuracy check.

@@TheDart88 If the Chansey Dynamaxed Thunder Punch into Max Lightning, we're looking at a 130 base power physical electric move with a 119-possible max atk physical Chansey that's doing 2x damage plus the 4x weakness, so the crit may not have mattered as much if the Gyarados has a -def nature or doesn't have def EV-trained. If it was defensive though yeah crit absolutely mattered there.

I like how people always ask for rematches, even though a rematch means using the same team, but they usually change their team to counter whatever strategy was used.

It’s crazy how I’ve been playing Pokémon since Red released in the US but I still constantly learn new things. Never knew lucky punch was an item before, much less a gen 2 item.
@nathanielbass7712 жыл бұрын
it's an extremely rare item due to it only appearing on WILD chansey with a low rate, so not only do you have to catch or steal from the very rare pokemon that is likely to flee, you also have to have the item spawn on them. Berserk Gene used to be a thing too but was probably deemed too powerful or something
