That's it, It's Ok is probably my favorite song on this whole show (even over firewalking, ikr). It's the perfect mix of rap and pop, and I just like it a lot!!!! also xiao gui's rap got me, like i dont know if he wrote it but the meaning of his lyrics ;-; you never think about how hard these boys have to work to earn that place on stage. and they all deserve it.

For anyone who doesn't know, this song was written and arranged by UNIQ's Seungyoun and his friends, Nathan and Eden. They wrote the Korean lyrics and then it was translated into Chinese. Edited(in 2021): Well, I know the demo was sung in Korean and English so the song wasn't really translated into Chinese(I guess the Korean composers and the Chinese lyricist might have talked about what they wanna convey in this song anyway), but (you guys might not notice) I left this comment after I watched the final episode of Idol Producer 3 years ago and that time I saw like a Chinese lyricist on the song credit so I just assumed it was translated then. And actually I was the one who asked Seungyoun about the Korean ver. demo during his Instagram live :)

When the mentors was asked for the comments on the ITS OKAY performance, Li Ronghao said that the performers are ready to debut going by the performance and MCJIN seemed to be on high after watching the performance. On the contrary Li Ronghao complement for the performers in MACK DADDY is how they have improved on the dancing and singing, and MCJIN evaded giving his comment. We also get to see how the 4 mentors applauded when You Zhangjing was voted as the last 9 of the NINE PERCENT group as he really deserved to be in the group.

Zhangjing!! My bias!! This song is my fav from idol producer. The choreography is good as well! Thx Lin Chaoze who helped in arranging it. He's talented, not only a good dancer but also a good leader. Although he didn't get to debut, but will still support him in Trainee 18 as well as his other members. Seungyeon/WOODZ, Nathan & EDEN composed and wrote the Korean/demo version of this song T^T Seungyeon sang most of the lyrics in English for the demo but rapped in mostly Korean, Nathan (i think) rapped in English for the demo. I kinda wish they'd allow Seungyeon to produce the full Korean version someday...And he has to be in the song too of course Oh and it's nice to see Justin here, I knew him from Produce 101 and he was pretty popular because he was good-looking. I'm glad he got to show a lot more on this show since he was pretty shy and quiet in Produce 101.

Jolin ._. I'm sorry that I offended you, but in every song, a certain degree of autotune is used and it could've been the producer's stylistic choice. I love YanJun and he's a great vocalist. It's the song producer's fault. Some of the songs for Idol Producer sound like they aren't mastered properly and here, I can hear a little bit too much autotune was used. Again, I'm really sorry that I offended you, but it's really part of the producing and mastering process, I wasn't trying to diss YanJun at all. I love all of the boys...

Jolin ._. Lmao, why are you so offended? FYI, iQiyi edits the audio of all the performances that were pre-recorded so technically everyone’s voices in firewalking were auto tuned too. The most accurate way to judge the trainee’s vocals was the final live broadcast. Even then they had the studio version in the background so you have to carefully listen to the mic feed only to judge their actual vocal abilities.

The song was originally a love song expressing a man's desire for a woman, but it's remade for the trainees telling about their hard work and dream. Both Seungyeon's song and the new Chinese lyrics are perfect, they match so well. Also, I love the rap part by Xiao Gui and Justin, especially Justin's intonation of "Mo Yang". PS: I really love these lines in the Chinese lyrics. "There's no narration for the art of hard work, no matter who you're (even if you're Cezanne or Monet)." The translation I saw in another video is kinda different from this one, but I think it sounds better. Although it's not performed by UNIQ, it still reminds me of them. They paid so much for their dreams, still fighting for the chances to stand on the stage. I'm so proud of them.
