Im' from Madagascar and so happy you would like to visit my beautiful country :-) Nosy Be, also called Nossi-Bé, is a small island in the northwestern shore of Madagascar. I got the ylang ylang nosy be in my collection and it's remind me my dad and my childhood, it smells like the ylang ylang oil perfume he brought after visiting Nosy be. this island is known for the ylang ylang they are producing .

@@latifa1020 I can see that..I read his story and personally and was so intrigued I purchased Black Gem and God of fire as well and Mortal Skin .I get your reference agreed it's smoother more faceted and rounder and creamier on the dry down...the journey is such a wow from opening to dry down. I would say it's akin to Grand soir and Musc R.

Sunshine sends me to bulgaria🥰 Sadly it does not last on me without what i call overspraying. Though it is usually around 7-14°c from spring to autumn here so might be part of the reason as Amouage is a mideastern brand and the climate differs. But: Amouage Blossom love last for hours without overspraying, might be the suede and amaretto that keeps it going🥰

I really love exotic foods like white rice and himalayan rock salt, taste really good with over cooked dry chicken breast just a bit of salt but not enough to give it any flavour. Then of course need some veg so I go with exotic asian vegetables like green peas also called mangetout or snowpeas. But don't season them...overcooked chicken, white rice & snow peas with just himalayan salt. Really transports me back to my mothers house who couldn't cook and everything tasted like depression and miserable. Those were not the good times, but those were the good memories and I complete agree about exotic foods transporting you to another place like this one time I put a cucumber up there and was like magic I was transported to the hospital so I agree.

Amouage sunshine makes me travel to Indonesia. It doenst smell similar to the cigarettes they have, but it has a similar vibe in the sweetness. It also smells to me like when I walk into an Asian spices story where they sell incense and crystals haha

Great list of fragrances Demi! I own Ylang Ylang Gold Micaleff but on my skin it pulls more flower from the ylang ylang than anything else. its still nice but a tad dirty tropical smelly on me i noticed after i had gotten it. I wear it but i dont like it as much as my La Capitale.

I love this episode, Demi, and i love exotic scents! It made me take out Sunshine which was very tobacco and fruit forward today. I started thinking of Turkey or Indonesia, but the blend of apricot, tobacco, osmanthus, tea and bright sunshine led me to Swat in the upper regions of Pakistan. Thanks for the fun trip. Next time let's pick up some pashminas! lol Glad to see SHL being represented. Isra & Miraj is one of my most loved scents.

Amouage Sunshine reminds me of spring skiing for some reason. Maybe because of a sunscreen I once wore Spring skiing! I am wearing Lilac Love today speaking of Amouage. I had to because it was still on my skin from last night. Pierre should teach you how French is pronounced since you have him on hand:-). It’s pretty simple when you know the rules. Qu, for example, is pronounced K rather than Kw. Please don’t be offended, I am a francophile.

I discovered your channel a few months ago and have been watch your videos nonstop ever since. Thank you for your content. In one video, in passing, you mentioned a Middle Eastern oud scent that smelled like every mall in Dubai (or Oman). I cannot find the video now, so can you please tell me which scent that was? Also, perhaps you can do a video on more expensive smelling or refined alternatives to cheap fragrances. For example, I adore Pink Sugar by Aquolina (Magnetism by Escada, etc.) because it reminds me of my childhood, but I absolutely cannot wear it now because it smells cheap and is migraine inducing. Perhaps you have a more classy alternative to it? Thank you so much in advance.

I know you know that by law you have to say when a fragrance was given to you for free. And I don't know why saying that something "was sent to me" has become the KZbin code word for I was given it for free. I'm not really trying to come down on you specifically but I just noticed that that's what everybody says now and that is no substitute for saying that you were given it for review purposes or you were given it for free. I just had a fragrance sent to me yesterday. I had to pay $200 for it, but it was sent to me. If you are interested in transparency you shouldn't be using the phrase you are using.
