They are all so awesome and sounds so good the way you play them. Love it keep them coming. If you could I'd like to see one where you slide the finger symbols Against one another to create like a Brushing sound. Then when they separate after the slide let them ring for a notch. Thanks Keith

I have made five really good sounding shakers from Cuban cigar tubes with lead shot inside. You can get different tones by using small sea shells or beads. You can use one at a time or one in each hand or two held together sound great with more volume.

Thank you for those inspirations - especially for the Abacus (which you may also find as Soroban). The last shown instrument seems still to be produced as 'Spin Spark Shaker' I did not invent that, but I mounted six egg shakers in a plastic egg box. You can close/open the box for sound variations and - depending on the gig - you might earn laughter with that 'instrument'.

Dang, you didn't talk about my favorite ones, the ayoyotes. They're an Aztec instrument. The dancer wears the instrument on their leg like an ankle bracelet and when they dance it shakes. It's a bunch of seed pods.

I bought shakers called can cans, like used by Daniel waples in many videos. I don't think that was the right name though. I looked up percussion balls and saw a few videos. they are two balls attatched by a 3 inch string. I cannot figure out how to make them jive. looks like people swing one way, then to the bottom of the hand where they are grabbed. can't find any tutorials on it.

Sorry love, but that's a soroban, a Japanese abacus. The Chinese ones have two beads above the bar and five below. The soroban only uses the metric system. Love you and your videos otherwise!!
