So many people complain about the cleanliness of such food sources, but do they actually know how dirty commercial slaughterhouses are? The worms in this video are farmed and produced in batches of a smaller scale compared to pig/chicken/cow farms where the animals are born, raised, and die on their feces. Eating these types of food may be not normal to most cultures and their reason might be “there are so many substitutes that they can eat, why eat worms”. Well, these are called delicacies, and delicacies are food that you don’t actually eat on a daily basis. Do people eat lobster everyday? Why kill a poor lobster if you can just eat shrimps? It’s because it’s a delicacy. Why do people in France force feed geese to make foie gras? Why can’t they just eat regular goose meat or even just chickens? You see, people must at least try to respect and understand why a certain culture does this and that, instead of prejudicially saying “ew”, “disgusting”, “why do they eat that blah blah blah”

Yeah, you're talking smart my friend. Youre a well educated person. However, the foods in this video can not represent our national cuisine. @Dawn a calm kitty I think it's mainly due to each person's appetite. There are other delicious food, I agree, but these bizarre food also taste good and nutritious at the same time. Most people are afraid of what they don't know, and sometimes judge others for not being humane, but since this is a cruel world, let's just enjoy it

The worm pancake is actually pretty good. The worm taste like a very volume fish, but with the taste of red meat or pork. They usually add lemon zest into it and like zest, so the pancakes have a very aromatic taste next to the dill. A real good treat, lovely eating with omelette

Every country has at least one exotic dish and our Vietnam is no exception. but these foods aren’t popular with the young people in my country now, I didn't know about these strange things until I watched this video. I think that more than 80% of people will not like this kind of food and so do I. Maybe your country also has many strange things that you or your” sister” have never seen so you should not say other people like that
