I clearly now understand that my Jupiter is weak and afflicted for whatever reasons in the past. I understand that we have now control as you said and we just need to move forward. Have looked at my Jupiter in Aquarius sign 8H, Rahu in 9H, Saturn in 5H and Sun/Mercury in 2H and the traits you spoke about are definitely how I think about situations. Bhabajeet.. this is for your analysis about Jupiter. My Jupiter Mahadasha started on April 2008. I won't say it was worst or something like that. But it gave me results exactly as it is placed. First of all. It was retrograde. ASs soon as my Mahadasha started, it always delayed me whatever I wanted in Life. It was like he is saying, 'I will decide what to give n what not' Sometimes he completely denied me my most lovable things in life. He played such a role, that critical circumstances always arose and it compelled me heavily to bury my dreams. This is the naked truth. Having immense potentiality in me, I lost golden opportunities always in my life. But I am not a beggar atleast. I somehow earn for my living. But that leverage of earning and living will not be applauded by me to the hands of Jupiter. That was my own struggle which led me atleast to earn a livelihood. Retrograde is a path, which drags you to some other place, either with or without your will. So does retrograde planets work in such a way. Hence no planet is good or bad in retrograde. But a bad position of retrograde planet certainly does good in life Whereas a very good position of planets hamper life if the particular planet is retrograde. It takes you away from your goals. My jupiter is bad. It is in ardra nakshatra with rahu in 8. But the most important is it is debilitated in the 11th house of navamsha with Saturn and mars. Jupiter started in 2013. Initially it was bad. Jupiter Saturn sent me to the USA for my mba. Come Jupiter mercury I am without a job. Jupiter mahadasha took me to Jyotish and taught me life lessons. Jupiter md started 10 months ago. The only changes I've noticed so far is that I feel more peaceful + started doing volontary-work in churches. My Jupiter is on the ascendant in cancer/punarvasu. No planet is aspecting him/1st house, while jupiter rules saturn in pisces and exchanges signs with moon in saggi. Jupiter is also in cancer/punarvasu in D9.

Punarvasu nakshatra is known for restoration, repetition, rehabilitation, come back. Of course, it is a peaceful nakshatra as it comes after Ardra (calm after the storm). Jupiter becomes vargottama and falls in the same sign in D9 too. I do not know whether it is in retrograde motion or not in your case. For Cancer ascendant, Jupiter is a neutral planet and it rules the 6th & 9th house. Also, Jupiter gains directional strength in the ascendant. So, in every way, it becomes quite strong. 6th house represents daily routines. So, whatever you do, you have to do it again and again. 9th house lord in the ascendant especially when Jupiter is your 9th house lord is awesome. That means 9th house factors come to you. It makes a guru (teacher/advisor/counselor). This Mahadasha will give you a lot of wisdom/knowledge. It brings interest in religion or makes you philosophical. Punarvasu pada 4 is a combination of Jupiter-Moon-Moon. So, a lot of emotions involved in this pada. It is a great placement for guiding other people. You may meet a guru from the past.

Jupiter in cancer in the 8th house... Ketu aspects jupiter from the 12th house... Ketu and jupiter are trine to eachother.... Sagittarius ascendant... Moon in vishaka nakshatra so my first mahadasha was Jupiter's.... Tbh tho that time period wasn't that great

Interesting. If you are talking about Kataka Lagna, Jupiter is the 6th and 9th lord... would be interesting to see whole chart before coming to conclusion.. I am assuming you have finished your Jupiter Dasha for you to make this comment..

Jup is my ascendent lord and atma karaka. And sits in Virgo in my tenth. Combust with mercury. So technically i have a bad jupiter. But it’s in a Kendra. With my tenth house exalted lord. And it’s my ascendent lord. I don’t agree with the statement saturn being always bad. Saturn has given me things NOTHING can take away. Jupiter has. Saturn gave me my education and hard work in my career. Jupitwr brings me great relief from the malefics but Saturn made me a good person who works hard. I have Jupiter Saturn and mercury in my 10th. I am in my Rahu MD. And honestly Rahu Saturn was not bad until Jupiter’s transit was bad. So for me Saturn is not as bad as a bad Jupiter Rahu/ketu transit. Rahu is located in my 8th house in a Jupiter nakshatra so Jupiter is both a blessing and a curse in my chart. Rahu has been the hardest tbh but i am happier than I’ve ever been DURING ANY OTHER MD. the combustion of my mercury and Jupiter normally makes me an exacting perfectionist for Too Many things at one time and the Saturn makes the work drawn out to take a long time.I too feel bc i have Rahu in cancer i too have too my projects and then the jup/merc combustion and Saturn in my tenth magnifies this constant need to be having ten thousand projects and to be perfect at them all. It is a heavy karma. Yet to others i look like i have accomplished so much but they don’t see the perfectionist side of Virgo that makes it never enough for me and how Saturn made me work like I’m on a treadmill but never really going as far as the effort i exert.( clearly I’m in Rahu mercury lol i can’t stop writing!!!)

My Jupiter Mahadasha has been sad,difficult, full of repeated failures in business and lack of success. With every good thing comes great loss. My Jupiter is retrograde in Pushya in Rasi chart and in the first house/twelfth house. Spiritual studies always bring lack of money and struggle with work. Cancer rising, Ashlesha ascendant. It’s over in 2 years. Then Saturn begins. I don’t know if I can deal with Saturn mahadasha after this horrible period. I am praying it’s not as bad as Jupiter
