I see this a lot with the "new housing" videos. But first,I gotta say Im thoroughly entertained by your and others houding videos. You have me laughing the whole time. Very funny......course Im laughing at your expense.....glad it aint me doing it. Now to my thought. Ive had snakes,turtles,lizards,toads etc. Ive had as many as 57 snakes,I bred,caught,kept all of that. Ive always believed it was important to build a trust relationship with any animal. As such,I would refrain from any aggressive,threatening, or human movement toward an animal. Wouldnt it be a better attempt to just put the cup into the new cage and let the T walk out when they are good n ready? Think about it,these Ts are a secretive,clandestined, animal for the most part. Now you are coming into their "man cave",ripping their curtains apart,shining a light on them,sticking them in the ass with a straw,tweezers or brush. To me thats an aggressive act all around.Id bite your sorry ass too. These are captive raised animals from the egg,they have not experienced the freedom of the outdoors,hence these dinky little cages they live in are their homes. Isnt it best to not threaten the trust built with them and just let them walk out of the cup in due time? Just a thought. If you notice how Al (viperkeeper),Dingo take their mambas out with snake hooks,they try to make the hook appear as a tree limb for the snake. They dont jab at them.....YOU CANT JAB AT ANY MAMBA. If you used the methods you guys do with Old World and New World Ts on either the black or green mamba,youd be dead or parslyzed for life on your first attempt,period. You can't make one mistake,period. Granted,different animals...... but I think building that trust is critical to keeping any animals captive.
