Kelly, I just love to watch these videos, he makes it look easy. I’m with you when he cuts those flowers off, I cringe. Thank you and Jeremy for showing us the technique ❤️❤️

Aloha Linda! I agree with you, he makes it look really easy and he does it so quickly. Having a work area and all of your supplies right there definitely makes a world of a difference. And yes, when he cuts off flower spikes or breaks flowers off,, my heart sinks 😳 I like to enjoy my flowers to the very end 😂 I guess it’s different for commercial growers. I’m glad you enjoyed the video, Mahalo for watching 🤙🏽

I'm really glad you highlighted this nursery. I'm currently in Hawaii and on my way to visit s and w, and it's all because of your videos. Plus, there aren't too many nurseries open to the public, so it's nice he is.

@@modelingzen4284 I’m glad you had fun! I wish I could’ve been there to meet you guys. Jeremy texted me the picture and also mentioned that you’re planning on going to the big island. Fun video! So many amazing Dendrobiums. The alba Lorrie Mortimer is absolutely gorgeous. Repotting is so therapeutic. I’ve been wanting to do another repotting video but the heat and mosquitoes have been unbearable. Good idea using the solid styrofoam for stability of the stakes. You make a cool team.🤙🏽

Aloha Nelson! I got distracted with all of those beautiful dendrobiums 💚 Yes the Lori Mortimer Alba is gorgeous 🤍 You and Jeremy make repotting look so easy. I honestly dislike repotting, I get stress just thinking about how many plants I have to repot 🤣 I do enjoy watching how other people repot their orchids though. Can’t wait to see you do another video because I really enjoyed the one you did with your phals. You made it very simple, which I love! Mahalo for watching 🤙🏽

Well that was an excellent video and although I’ve grown a few orchids from keikis it’s been with mixed success. I see now what I was doing wrong by not letting the cut portion dry out. It’s certainly interesting to see how a professional grower goes about propagating. Thank you so much for sharing your visit with Jeremy.
@orchidsinparadise24386 ай бұрын
Aloha Renate! I’m glad that you enjoyed the video 😊 I’ve had the same experience as you with keikis. My issue was that I’d twist them off instead of cutting the canes. I’m going to start doing it this way and hopefully I won’t lose as many from now on. Mahalo for watching and happy growing 🤙🏽💚
