Hello, in this narrative, we share some stucco tips with this video to save you time when using expanding spray foam for many challenging areas, such as around stucco pipes.
Expanding spray foam sprayed inside deep pipe holes helps avoid problematic breakouts.
These are time-consuming but, more importantly, do more damage than good.
Our unique stucco crash course tip: all subscribers or anyone who stumbles on our channel with a question, type your question into our channel, and like magic, a video will appear to explain how it’s done. This feature is miles ahead of any plastering forum.

Good morning Jordan dude. Thank you, my friend. 😉 We come up as there's not much I have encountered in the last 40 years of full-time plastering. Our goal was to teach all the young plasters and homeowners worldwide for free how to do every phase of plastering know to man. Thus they will be able to learn or earn a legal living with our tips. 🍻 Old kirk won't be around forever, so here's my gift back to say thank you for our blessing.🤔 Kirk and Jason Giordano plastering, sharing well over 850 free Stucco/Plastering videos for your education. Should mention that great stuff and its like is very easy to cut with a sharp utility knife after it has set and expanded. Easy to take care of a little mushroomin. This technique is going to come in handy on my stucco house!

"...a tumor..." lol. thanks for the outstanding info, I have to set a casement window with too much area on sides to fill (3/4" on either side) and want to concrete over foam to match the existing cinder block. If I hadn't seen this I wouldn't know to use the bonding agent, and mortar wouldn't have stuck to the foam. And it would've looked terrible. Like a tumor holding the window in : (

So I have a similar sized hole in my stucco from the plumber. I watched a few of your videos including the one where you broke out the wall to reveal more paper and wire mesh, put insulation, more waterproof paper, and put more stucco. So rather than doing all that since I don't feel comfortable doing all that myself, can I just go this route? What's the difference? This seems way easier for someone like me.

Kirk and family, thanks for the videos, these are great! We are getting ready to build our house and I'm going to be using rigid foam (XPS) on the exterior basement walls, and I'd like to cover them in stucco. Would the weldcrete you mentioned here be a good primer? And would I need lathe as well? Plan is to coat them below grade as well. Need a nice tough surface so the foam isn't exposed.

Good afternoon Anthony, the foam will come with instructions on the best way to cover them with stucco, more than likely you will have to attach stucco netting. As they will have seams, where they but up together. Bringing peace, love, and harmony to the plastering world The complete plastering encyclopedia on video, by the plastering messengers of KZbin

Evening Chris, dude, If it were me I'd buy a small box of the rapid set stucco from home depot, mix and fill. these boxes come in 10 or 25-pound boxes up to 94-pound bags, the expanding foam fills cracks it's not an adhesive. Live long, and plaster Plastering tips and techniques

Good Evening Migg almost all of these expanded foams will work as the base coat especially where little access is of course something solid needs to stop the foam from expanding so it can fill up the space , then be trimmed off a bonding agent applied then Stucco. It's definitely a tight spot, I think I might cut in to the foam a bit rather than just cutting the excess stuff flush to the wall. This is to ensure the layer of stucco is a little thicker. I'm afraid the starting of my forced air system in combination with the hard duct going through the wall may break the stucco over time. Thanks again!

Good afternoon John, the expanding foam is waterproof, the stucco is to match the original finish but also water-resistant. I tell folks to uses a good primer and paint, such as Sherman Williams that is elastomeric, this paint is also waterproof. SgtAMYNTAS Cement doesn't eat away the copper. Copper is one of the best kind of flashing for masonry such as brick and block or chimneys

***** It does i have seen it with my own eyes! exactly the same reason why your not allowed to use copper for a condesite on combi boilers! cement has sulfur which is the reason why its mainly corrosive
