Why needs to turn? Just have the four piece triangles fold out , then no rotation needs

The problem is where to grip the triangular plates. Please read the video description.

If the triangular pieces just fold out, then all of the support depends on the hinges and the thickness of the table top. That may be too much stress for the typical hinge to handle, or would require an excessively thick table top.

Yes. At expanded position the triangular pieces are supported by 45 deg. turned lowest plate.
