I got to the end of what there is to buy in the demo and will have to wait now :( Here's what I found: After watching episode 2 I downloaded the game and played it for 8 straight hours on Friday. First tip is to save an empty box and just put it on the floor, you can use it to move items around the shelves without having to wait for them to be sold or moving each item one at a time. It doesn't matter what was in the box originally, if its empty you can put any item in and move it. The storage shelf should be unlocked way sooner, by the time you get to it you've been dealing with the boxes on the ground for so long you get pretty good at managing the mess lol. If you are getting to the end but haven't unlocked the counter at lvl 15 then don't waste your time grinding for it, i kept playing for a while just to see what it looked like and it is literally the same counter you already have, I don't really understand the need for 2 counters in the small shop, at least not right now with only 1 employee available to play. I found a 2216.70-dollar Esmeri Full Art card on day 5-6 but it took over that amount of more days for it to ever sell because it was so expensive, the more they are worth the harder they are to get people to buy even if you under value them. I was super disappointed in the expansions to the shop, each upgrade opens up one more square of space but also increases your daily rent, I don't think I finished upgrade till i was close to the end because I could fit enough tables and shelves to make enough money. When i did open up the whole place I decided to buy a new table but I found that at the end of the day I had a lot more people just sitting alone waiting for someone to play with that it was probably to many, but you can't sell them after buying them, you have to box them back up and stick it in a corner or just throw them away. If someone is still at a table at the end of the night you can go up to them and try to move the table, that will make them stand up and either leave or buy something before leaving so I would always just do it for a chance they will buy something on their way out. Every item has a fluctuation in value from day to day by just a little bit, but if you don't check your prices for 4-5 days then you could be selling you items for a lot less then they should be but not a huge deal. I thought if you made your tables cheaper than the others around then you would get more customers, but I found no difference in the amount of people who would show up or the length they stayed at the table which would have been cool if it did make a difference. I tried to do a "promotion" where I bought a brand-new table and the next day, I made the price 3 dollars less than normal hoping for a huge turn out; I think I had less people use the tables then before lol, and after playing for a while you notice that some days are just busier than others. I had a really fun time for what they have to do for now and will be looking forward to updates and the ability to play the actual game, which in the notes it says they are going to be working on it along with a lot more stuff to do and buy for the shop.

Trust me DO NOT hire the worker he is super slow it takes like 10 years for him to give 2 dollars change and he is just as slow at stocking you have been warned 😂
@Voriki24 ай бұрын
I'm happy with him. Yes, he is slow, but I alternate and take over the register when it is busy. And he can do some small stocking.

The simulator isn’t fully fixed. The customer will wait a long time and I haven’t seen any leaving except for bad smell. Let the slow worker do the counter. You just open packs lol. Selling singles brought in more income than packs.
@zaimanity88933 ай бұрын
The worker is 100% worth. I can stock and open up packs while he does the register. Also due to being just a prologue, the line doesn't really even get that long. I've seen maybe 5 people in line max, and I've already unlocked everything and been playing a bit.

If you do the other event, called Pauper. The cost of the basic packs (which is the only pack available in the prologue value will go up). My basic packs are market price at $4
@jolteon3454 ай бұрын
Not just the packs but also the singles. I have the same single he sold for 290 constantly climbing in price in my binder.

Not sure if you know, if you don't want to type using your mouse when someone pays with a credit card, you can also just use your number keys on your keyboard

When you're ordering stock, you get charged for shipping EVERY time you order. It's best to make one bulk order each day and only make other smaller orders in emergencies.

add a vending machine if the game lets you. those card players need snacks.

Just a heads up High priced singles are nice but real shops sell the low value card in large quantities. May not be as much quick income but it does increase customer satisfaction being able to get low value cards. Especially those that like to collect more than play.

I played this myself earlier tonight. I tried that strategy - bought a bunch of card display tables, put all of my low-value commons up and refilled as they were being sold. I noticed that I ended up earning less money overall, compared to selling the expensive ($5+) cards. I think that the AI just randomly decides to buy 1-3 cards, checks which ones you have on sale and then randomly picks one. They don't buy more than 1-3 at a time, so if you're selling them for $0.10 - $0.50 then you're earning less than if you sold one for like $2.50. Maybe they'll change it in the future, but as of right now it seems like selling your high value cards is the way to go (keeping one copy for the binder, of course)

ya the expansion upgrades are rather small for the cost. but then again in real life it could be worse depending on location.

This prologue needs a random mission generator to keep the flow, but otherwise, I'm having a GREAT time with it.
@stefanvanrooij58134 ай бұрын
if progression is like their mobile games, the next quest-set wil be the rarer kind of card packs/ boxes, expand shop, epic cards, bigger shelves/vending, legendary cards, etc only thing is we are rather limited in what we can sell now cardwise, but its the prologue, we will just have to wait for a bit.
@the_motherowl4 ай бұрын
As much as I had fun playing the prologue the game is still super barebones mechanic-wise and repetitive. There are no missions or randomization after some days. As owners we have practically no influence besides pricing and the game quicly turns into a spray people and give change to costumers simulator. I wanted to see event creation and scheduling, promotions and deals options, stock and more money management instead of instant deliveries, being able to buy singles/collections from costumers, give store credit, having at least 2 tcg, having days of the week and being able to do specific things like renovations and expansions only on closed days, food itens, etc... This game misses the opportunity of converting so many dynamics from card shops into new mechanics.

FYI, I downvoted the last video and this one because you keep skipping card opening on a TCG game. The card opening is literally the only exciting part of the game.
