Great video, I just purchased a Pingo doce labeled Tawny Port wine (the cheapest, haha) and it is actually really good and from the Symington family estate. Hello. I hope you get to visit more regions in Portugal. We are dmall but pack a lot in a small package. By the way, it's Vinho Verde. If you are familiar with spanish, the portuguese word means the same as in spanish - green. In the case of the Vinho Verde that is not a name sbout the colour but it's green as use to mean new. Vinho Verde is new wine that is not fermented so it retains a bit of gas making it taste both sweet yet bubbly-like. It's great with fish or shellfish food but it can also be a great summer wine to drink chilled while enjoying an evening in the shade. But really, you can drink it anytime, any excuse is a good excuse to drink Vinho Verde. V8nho Verde is exclusive to the region of Minho in Northwest of Portugal, it's a designated and protected denomination (both by local national law and by EU law) so only this part of the world can produce Vinho Verde.

Vinho verde in Douro? You must have travelled to Minho, as Vinho Verde is a protected denomination exclusive to Minho alone. I guess for somebody unfamiliar with the region it might be easy to not be aware of the changing of the regions - personaly speaking and as a portuguese from the south i'd probably make the same mistske as well as i am not familiar with the Norte, sadly.
