Expect the Miraculous - Kirk and Christy East

This episode is a continuation of our conversation with Kirk and Christy East. In the first part of this conversation (Episode 94, Death, Where Is Your Sting?) Kirk and Christy detailed how the events surrounding the loss of their son, Frank, re-shaped their understanding of God and His presence in their lives. Though Frank was terribly ill, they exhibited extraordinary faith in Frank’s healing, and even in his resurrection after he had passed, because they believed that God intended it. What they got was the gift of a deep assurance of Frank’s presence in Heaven through multiple unrelated sources. If you haven’t listened to last week’s episode yet, I encourage you to do so. A lot of details discussed this week reference that part of the conversation.
Today, Kirk and Christy East talk about the ways God has brought them into a new life and is now working through them to bring the gifts of His kingdom to earth through powerful prayer in faith. The prayers of people of faith change things, and bring God’s kingdom and His intentions to earth. Kirk and Christ East are about to share how it has happened with them.

Encouraged to pray for my husband

I lost my daughter 18 years ago. She was 26. She didn’t wake up one morning. Very heartbreaking. But I trusted Father with her life. The day after she was buried, I sat on the front deck of the house and looked up and prayed, basically saying “ I trust you and know Angela is with you but please send me a sign to help my grief “ Immediately a butterfly appeared up in the sky where I was looking and flew down and landed on my shoulder and stayed there. Also when sleeping, my soul went to see her happy and beautiful. The rest is a long story but it was beautiful. Our Father loves us so much! btw…the butterfly was a Red Spotted Purple….purple was her favorite color!

Your T shirt? Funny how the apostles never talked like we do re: "The great commission", "burden for souls", The lost at any cost, "reach the world etc. - by way of command (or even inference) , as we evangelicals almost constantly do. Even Paul's closest "reference" to the great commission was to declare that Jesus DID NOT send him to baptize!?!?! Could it be that all that we take as imperatives of the Lord (commands to go, teach, baptize etc.) are the natural and implied RESULT of being salt and light and "abiding"? Jesus said "He who abides in Me WILL bare much fruit." Maybe the "christian" that needs to be told and constantly reminded to "go ye therefore" is one who has yet to come to KNOW Him. Mixed signals is the order of the age for sure. Thanks for posting these vids
