I honestly think Hikari is the best armsmaster due to his learned skills being based off his equipped weapons, he gets insane skills like limb for limb, aggressive thrust, Warrior’s blade, among other weapon skills

That's the beauty of these games huh Guy? Everyone has their own interpretation and playstyle so what may sound like the best for you is not for someone else. I personally care for max damage so Hikari is the best for me just because his Talent Power is so strong but like you said boosting his Learned abilities is also massive!

The best character to equip Armsmaster is Throne, because she can act 3 times in one turn (her latent power + Aelfric’s blessing) Use Lionheart’s Axe instead of Battle-Tested Axe. Throne can take down Galdera’s first phase in 2 turns by using the Lionheart skill, and you can save Alphione’s Amulet for Temenos for phase 2.

This is a great build for Galdera Yuki. This build is meant for general gameplay and can be used on anything however and nothing has more than 250,000 HP!

This whole time I’ve been using Temenos for my arms master, his Latent ability attacking 6 times was great for breaking shields

You can do that with the scholar and elemental barrage as well, with enough BP you can take down 6 to 8 shields, and it allows to put armsmaster on someone else

It can work but requires strategy. There are better builds for the Secret Boss Fik!

It was super weird. Earlier my hikari was able to do almost 20k damage with all his fully charged attacks. But then i equipped him with arms master and the, arguably, better weapons and now he doesnt even reach 9k with his attacks.

I would have to see a video of the two to better examine it. Your level and the enemies level plays a huge part in damage calculation as well as buffs and debuffs Chris!

@@Naztalgic_Memories maybe I'll just make ochette my armsmaster. But despite being my starting character I use her monsters way more. Even managed to capture a chubby cait and a few boss monsters

@@chriskoloski32 I would recommend leveling up your Hikari because Ochette has some really good Animals she can summon. It seems you have a few already so it would be a waste to not use them!

That's interesting you say that Alex. The time it takes to reveal an enemies weakness to get the full damage potential of Lionhearts Axe isn't worth it vs a boss/new enemy. If you just follow this set up they would have died long before then. Now if you just want a nice screenshot number then it will have the highest for a single hit if that's your definition of best. This is time efficiency best to get you from the start to the end of a fight.

@@Naztalgic_Memoriesthe thing about that is, you still have the weaknesses of the enemies after the fight, plus lionhearts axe deals so much damage it can be ignored in every battle but one, the superboss, which im basing my meta on. Whenever someone made hikari armsmaster during the fight with galdera, they ALWAYS only select lionhearts axe, no matter what. Not bow of the hunter of sixfold strike, always that. And even thats a suboptimal build since you can one-shot even galderas limbs with alpiones amulet and sentencing gavel. Really, making hikari your armsmaster in of itsself is suboptimal since youre better of giving it to castti so you can have her one-shot everything with her wind concoct spell(or you can still make hikari your armsmaster, deck him out with wind-boosting attacks as well, give him wind pursuit via conjurer and he has the highest damage in all of OT2 with 5x99k, 200k less then the highest damage you can do in OT1

@@Georgefloydthesneedster I see! Thank you for explaining. After reading your reply then yes you are correct! My video wasn't meant for one fight in the game however. It's meant to help anyone watching this wherever they may be in their playthrough. I even used this against the secret boss and it took me two cycles. Will the average gamer care if it's a little slower? Probably not but if any of them are reading this both builds work just fine!

I already stated in the prior comment that this video is meant for the average player who will not care if it takes them one more cycle to clear. To further prove that, you are the only one to comment on such a minuscule detail. The video has helped many clear bosses they were stuck on and to move on and enjoy the game.
