I wonder if putting a 1/2-1” spacer between the bumper and the frame rails to pull that gap between the plastic and raptor bumper in. Possibly give some clearance around the tires as well

Very interested in your videos. Living in the UAE, being a wrangler guy for some time for desert purposes, without family. Now my kids are growing and want to bring them with me and my friends, so actually looking for a capable enough SUV (as a start, before mods) and thinking of the Timberline. Would you advise that? we are also a family of 5 and i don't like LC or Patrol. thanks

I haven't seen it down yet on a Expy but should be doable! The frame comes out right where the two tow hooks are on the front bumper

Just bought a 2010 Exp EL and looking for build ideas. This looks awesome. Question: Could you use the Raptor front skid plate with this install? did you do that already in anther vid?

I just bought a 2008 EL Limited and you have me wanting to cut it apart and try the same thing with the gen 1 raptor bumper! It's a perfect look on the expy!

Very neat video! Just have a question, if I decide to do this, do you have to leave that gap in-between the Raptor bumper and the Expy bumper you cut?

The gaps on the side? Ya that was kind of a mistake, shoulda cut it more flush to the raptor bumper. I did end up adding some spacers on the mounting bolts to bring it flush as well

Look at what redtail ford expedition did. They used raptor front suspension which is easily available and cheap. For control arms

The gaps make it sloppy and the crash bar severely compromised your front structural integrity in case of a head on crash. While I can appreciate your effort and intent, I dont think this was worth the final product. No offense, it's your ride so as long as you like it, thats all that matters. 👍
