Expedition Route 66 (2013)

Quick information about our trip:
5 Harley-Davidson motorcycles (3x Electra Glide, 2x Heritage Softail Classic)+ one escort vehicle (Jeep Patriot replaced after problems with engine Chevrolet Traverse)
We started 3th of August 2013 from Milwaukee and we finished in San Francisco after 26 days and 6500 km.
Our itinerary:
Prague(CZE), Milwaukee, Chicago, Bloomington, Collinswille, Springfield, Tulsa, Clinton, Amarillo, Sante Fe, Gallup, Flagstaff, Blanding, Page, Tusayan, Kingman, Las Vegas, Barstow, Los Angels, Atascadero, San Francisco, Prague (CZE)

I can remember my first visit to Praha (Prague) was an incredible experience for me. We stayed in a hotel at the end of a trolley line and took it down to the castle which overlooks the old part of the city. And as we walked down the hill toward the St. Charles bridge the streets got narrower and the buildings got older and more beautiful. I think Prague is the most beautiful city I've ever been to and I look forward to my next trip there. Thank you for visiting the United States and please come back soon.

Excellent Video guys. Hope you had fun. I spent weeks talking a Chinese lady friend into taking her parents to Prague instead of Paris... and what finally won her over was Google Earth... showing the vast size of the historical part of the city compared to a small area in Paris where it's still safe to go without getting accosted by Africans... and... Laura Southern's walk around northern Paris. I've been to your beautiful city many times.

a few years ago i spent the night in a town called silverton colorado, went to a bar/restaurant, full of memorabilia and stickers people had left, saw one from the prague hog chapter.

I was on Route 66 a few years ago and found it mostly tourist traps and definitely nothing to recommend. Some nice riding, but you can get that anywhere out west. Days gone by, that's for sure.

At 1:32 you have a photo of the "Gay Parita" Sinclair station located about 3 miles West of Halltown, Missouri. It is a popular spot for travelers from all around the world. I live in Springfield about 15 miles to the East of this location. I've been by the Station many times over the years. The old boy who operated the station passed on about a year ago, but it's still open and will be for the foreseeable future. He loved to give personal tours of his place and show off his guest books. I think he had a special love for everyone who visited him. It is pleasing to know so many people share a love of the old road. I hope you get the opportunity to come back again. Just out of curiosity, what does it cost to ship your bikes across the Atlantic? Ride safe my friends!
