YES, I did enjoy the episode, My first visit to Pattaya was in Twenty Nineteen I was in a nice hotel right next to Tukom Mall on Soi Day / Night. I remember that Dunkin Donuts and all the electronics in the Mall. I bought a waterproof Bluetooth speaker that I still have. A lot has changed but I still like the area. Belated Happy Thanksgiving Loucous. You mentioned that you had gotten your PC at Best Buy. Were there any issues with using it in Thailand? No issue at all, on the back it says 110-220 volt. Just plug it in with no adaptor or anything.

Looks like you got a cool looking PC! I didn't realize there was no Apple store there. I was looking online at their new computers. I have a really nice iMac but it is from 2015. I am hoping to not have to buy anything to replace it before my planned relocation, mid 2025 - (i'll be 50 1/2ish by then.) l think a Mac Mini would suit my modest needs. The fireworks looked cool! nice system! I'm on a MSI laptop/ i-7 chip/ 32gb 1Tb drive, and added a micro SD 400gb card to it/ the video cards must not be over bought for bitcoin mining this year (one of the issues that drove up the price and even made them hard to find for a while). Have fun, editing video can be a forever task/ just depends on your own decisions, started doing a little of that around 2001, on an E-Mac 17" computer.

You can get an adapter for the plug to use your old plug. I don't even use the new plug and all works fine. But the new adapter might move a bit quicker for someone that vlogs.

Get a high quality USB-C data cable and the video will transfer WAY faster. You don't need to pay $130 for apples cable, but quality does matter. For charging, it makes no difference. I

I'm curious as to what the exact issue with the USB Type C vs Apple Lightning cable was? That would mean you need a new cable of course, and you would need to make sure that your PC had a USB-C port. (I'd be surprised if a brand new PC did not as the Type C standard is not exactly new, but you never know with PCs.) You implied it may have been some other piece of equipment that was the issue?

The real issue is the microphone setup I use is the lightning connector, not usbc. Not sue they make the right adaptor either, as it needs to be a TRRS to USBC, having a hard time finding one.

I wouldn't pay extra for that tbh. USB-A ports on a new PC are generally just as fast for both charging and transferring data as USB-C to USB-C. Really comes down to the USB version, not the port.

Very nice new computer. 8 cores in cpu and 32 gig ram make your video editing faster than before i think. Is that cpu fan quiet? I have done quite a few intallations and have noticed that if the stock cooler is noisy its better to invest some 50 to 80 bucks more to a better fan. The difference in the noice can be remarkable. If the stock cooler does its thing without getting loud then they are perfect as they come with the cpu price. I hope yours is just fine.
