For real, some of these minifigures aged like fine wine as far as price goes. I actually own fangtom and fangam. I got the fanpyre truck back when it was first on shelves, without a clue how coveted its characters would be in the future. They’re both a little faded, but otherwise in great condition.

I actually picked up a complete version of that set on eBay back in July 2022 for like $75 I think & while it’s a lot more than the set retailed for, knowing the Fangpyre snake general is worth $60 by itself makes it feel a lot more justified of a purchase.

One thing I tend to do to save money I buy 1 version of the character that shares parts with their other variant and I just buy the parts I need online that way I’m not paying for another mini figure that has duplicate parts or I’ll just buy individual unique parts of their various outfits that I like and merge them together to make my own with official parts used on the character

The rarest mini figures I have are Ed and Edna, and Skales Acidicus and Skalidor which came in a cheap mini fig polybag, so not sure if the generals are considered rare. I also have 2 anniversary ninja( jay and cole)

My most expensive minifigure I own is the Demogorgon which goes for like $80. Then we have Evil Professor Brainstien with robot legs for $75, & then 3rd is Lord Krakenskull from Nexo Knights which goes for $45 but I managed to get all the parts for the figure individually for only $25. My Gar Saxon figure went way up in value recently though so that’ll probably be decently expensive in a year.

1:45 I actually was one of these kids.. I was on a roadtrip with my parents and while we stopped at a rest stop I was allowed to pick up a 10 euro set for the ride. So I picked my favourite theme at the time, ninjago. Even though they didnt have my favourite Ninja (Zane) I thought to myself that the other blue one (Jay) would be fine too.
