The biggest shout-out in the world to your exhibit design, interpretation, and education teams!! This is such a unique and innovative exhibit concept that sounds as if it will be just THRILLING to visit! I can only begin to imagine the amount of work it took create this. If I didn't live on another continent, I'd be there in a heart beat!

I am from India and have always been obsessed with British history . Thanks for this post . You have corrected me via this posting : I used to think that it was Charles the First who hid in the Royal Oak before he was discovered and executed . I did not know it was his son Charles the Second . Thanks for letting me know .

This is beautifully done !! Bravo 👏🏼👏🏼 I live for my family history now that I’ve begun researching ! I really enjoy learning more and more about the history of my family . The best is to see the areas where some of my ancestors lived . Great job restoring this beautiful place it’s like Heaven on Earth , I could live there easily .

@@frankrobert4897 I’m doing ok considering . The weather here is as crazy as usual in New England , it’s like 90 today , tomorrow it’s supposed to be in the 60’s . Everyone is putting in the AC’s but tomorrow some will be putting the heat on . 😂

Reminds me of the novel "Wickham's Second Attempt"...there is a mention of Pemberley hosting Charles the Second when the king is detained in Derbyshire. So interesting that this was similar to an actual historical event!

Oh wow! When international touristry resumes (which I dearly hope it soon will,) I would LOVE to visit Boscobel House. It looks very interesting and so beautiful. I remember from a previous video they said the current tree isn't the original tree as the previous one had to be removed because it had diseased but they took a chunk of it and replanted this tree (something along those lines).
