I was in Florence in mid-October this year; trying to visit the must-see places: the Duomo Cathedral, the Arno River, Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Pitti, the Boboli Gardens, Piazza della Signoria, the Vasari Corridor, and the Santa Trinita Church. These are the main sights in Florence, but every corner of the city is filled with historical landmarks. Of course, those who stay longer will discover more museums and basilicas to visit.
