Experience Series # 3 Ep.2 - Foot fetish - skydive

Ep. 2 of this series that offers an inside look into a head-up training camp hosted at Skydive Byron Bay. Organised by Downunder Dynamics, this was the third instalment of their annual head-up camp known as 'Foot Fetish.'
The primary goal of the event was to enhance the skills of participants, refining them to an advanced level, while also fostering a collaborative team training environment that promotes learning and teamwork.
Participants were divided into four groups based on their skill level and group dynamics. Each group was assigned a coach who rotated daily throughout the event

Sick series man! Question: The movements of the group seems to start off just straight out the door and gradually turning off jump run. Once off jump run do you just focus on a straight line (90° off jump run) with backwards and forwards movements? When the flyers move around or switches it seems the leader generally maintains a straight heading.

It really depends on the jump plan. Over all u always want to be avoiding heading back toward jump run. If the leader does turn the whole group then they can zig zag or do a full 360 carve but when they start moving in a straight line again it must be away from other groups and to a good opening location. This camp we only had2 groups in the plane so it was very easy to Navigate with
