The panorama lounge at the back of the ship absolutely stank of stale cigarettes when we were on the ship last week and would could never use it because of that. 🤢

Oh wow. I don't remember people smoking there when I was on it. There are few area outside that designated for smoking. Not inside.

@@DavidGQTravel unfortunately it is a designated smoking area and there’s another bar at the back that also allows smoking indoors. The area at the aft of the promenade also allowed smoking so was an unpleasant place to be and the outside area of the yacht club lounge also allowed smoking. People would literally start lighting up as they were walking through the lounge doors and stand right at the doors smoking, meaning you’d have to walk through them to go outside. I put it in my cruise feedback that so many spaces allowed smoking onboard, that I felt smokers were being given priority. We also had an incident of newly embarked passengers on the balcony next to us smoking. We reported it to staff as it’s such a serious safety issue and they were warned and it didn’t happen again. It really affected our cruise, and was not something we experienced on the MSC Seaview.
