American airline pilots are among the best trained pilots in the world.The FAA has strict mandatory required training for all U.S. pilots. I feel very safe flying on any U.S. carrier, including the budget ones like Spirit or Allegiant.

As a kid, I’ve always dreamt of having a career in aviation. I’ve always wanted to be a pilot but I don’t exactly come from a wealthy family and I know that flight school can be very expensive. Thank you so much...I do love and miss the 777-200s and 300s. Those two are great aircraft. I am a Former Purser/Chief Flight Attendant United Airlines Chicago Base. Class of February 1999. So, yes, I would always go inside the cockpit and brief with the Captain and First Officer. I always made the communication between me an my cockpit crew smooth. Yes, having a good team to be with was always important to me. If the cockpit guys and my team separated on domestic on lay-overs or if they flew on to another layover city, I would always make sure that I and my team said go bye to them. And thank them for getting us to that [articular city. And yes, I have jump seat in the cockpit of almost every aircraft. It does feel great being in the cockpit while the men and women fly. Thank you for flying....Fly safe always.....
