Yes, quite majestic indeed. I was there in end of January this year and this was one of the destinations in Scandinavian tour. We stayed in the Center of Rovaniemi which is close like 15mins drive and staying in Santa Village is a bit expensive. Also you can do winter sports and go for Northern lights chasing from the city. I would recommend 3-4 days are enough for activities and watching beautiful landscapes around.

@ thank you so much. We might not go anywhere else in Finland as our son just want to go to Santa Village. Can we book taxi easily from city to Santa village ? I have heard all activities are around the Santa village particularly husky’s ride 😊

Yes, you can easily call a taxi from the city. When you reach there then just ask someone or at the hotel, they’ll give you numbers as there are so many independent taxi drivers roaming around. Yes, there are activities like Reindeer ride, Husky ride and so. Just visit santaclausvillage.info for all the useful info. Cheers😉

Yes, I was there in January end week and it was snowing at the moment. I would say that is the best time to enjoy as there‘s still Christmas vibe and prices are not high as December.

For some people, experiences hold far more value than material possessions. Also, no one is forcing anyone to stay in the apartments there or purchase souvenirs. It’s a wonderful, once in a lifetime opportunity to experience something truly magical.
