The Ta-152 was the best high altitude propeller fighter the germans developed. With a stated maximum altitude of 14k, I have only been able to achieve 12.5k. In a dive, the ailerons and rudder rip off at 750 kph while the Bf-109 K4 and Fw-190 D9 have no issues at 850 kph. In half of the footage you can see that my left aileron is missing due to this issue. The Ta-152 is supposed to have a low wing loading from its large wings and a correspondingly high turn performance, but it is almost impossible to turn at the moment. Overall, it is poor performing airflow especially since no heavy bombers are in the game.

Ailerons ripping off at 750 kph hardly seems realistic. That's supposed to be the plane's maximum speed in level flight!!

Its maximum speed is not achieved at low altitude where this fight takes place but at around 40,000ft, my guess would be the denser air coupled with high speed caused aileron failure.

@@gsherlock I think it's been changed, I reached about 750 km/h at ground level from a dive and had no issues.

750 km/h at 14,000 meters has the dynamic pressure equivalent of 350km/h at sea level. That's close-ish to the Ta's stall speed. The the aircraft would fly and experience pressure loads as if it was flying pretty slow. In the other direction, the dynamic pressure equivalent of 750 km/h at sea level would be 1500 km/h at 14,000m altitude... but I think that's well over mach 1 so that calculation probably breaks down at those high speeds at that altitude. But we can probably agree that it seems reasonable for the Ta-152 to sustain damage travelling at 1500km/h at 14,000m.

Hello! No you shouldn’t need other dlc to have multiplayer. You will not have access to any plane that is not in Battle of Stalingrad though.
