The Sable, Roan, Eland, Reedbuck, and Tssebee are very special animals to find in the Kruger.
You can spend many days and drive far and wide and not see them.
Yes, they do have a home range and specific areas where you can go look for them and find them relatively easily. This can result in incredible footage and photos. It is essential that people become more passionate about these animals just like lions and leopards. They need more publicity because there are fewer Roan, Eland, and Sable in Wild Parks than 10 years ago.
Many of our animals are in a population decline. It is our job as citizens of the world and lovers of nature to study and share these animals and their stories.

I've seen a solitary Lichtenstein's hartebeest near Pretoriuskop, around the start of the Voortrekker road. But that was more than 20 years ago.
