Namaskaram to all devotees, It was a humbling experience at Sri Kanchi Mahaswamigal Tapovanam @ Govindapuram yesterday. We got to know about this place thru the video shared by Mr Bharat Subramanian (Experiences shared by Shri Raju mama, cousin of Shri Joshi) as well as another website on Mahaperiyava. And we could also meet with Shri Raju sir personally in the tapovanam and listen from him on how each sannidhi in the tapovanam came up. Be it the Vinayagar for whom Periyava himself has done abishekam and aradhanai or the rudraksha tree, pancha thala vilvam and thiruvodu tree which is a rare thing to see in our soil it was a pleasure to listen from Shri Raju sir himself and spend time at the tapovanam. It is humbling to see the humongous efforts that has gone behind the pradhistai of Bana lingam for all the acharyas of Kanchi kamakoti mutt and the Tanjore paintings of each Acharya installed above the Bana lingams and the sincerity in which abishekam is done for each Acharya. We also heard that the monthly anusham, navaratris, Rudra parayanam, gosamrakshanam and other events are held with great enthusiasm. Situated very close to Shri Bhagavan nama bodhendra adhishtanam and Sri Vittal Rukmini temple, devotees can spend peaceful time at the tapovanam while cherishing the efforts spent in maintaining and spreading the rich heritage of the guru parampara @ Kanchi mutt. Jaya Jaya Sankara! Hara Hara Sankara!
