Cheddanagar Kovil serves to go there not only to pray, but also to conduct wedding, reception, seemantham, Aandu niraivu, annaprasanam, vidyarambam, poonal, sashtiapthapoorthy and other functions of many families of Chembur and around. Having beautiful halls and the temple above, people prefer to conduct the funtions because with all Gods Ashirwadams every family is blessed for the function. Our heartfelt respect and gratitude to Mr.P.Subramanian (Secretary) and others who strove hard to build this temple with dedication.

Chedda Nagar Murugan Temple is very famous giving strength and succour to thousands of devotees in and around Mumbai. The whole area of Chembur, Sion , Chedda nagar, Ghatkopar Gharodia Nagar, Sanpada, Vashi areas draw energy from the presence of this temple.. So the contribution of Sri P Subramanian from the early stages to this date is commendable. The initiative of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam to support the divine efforts at this place is the main reaaon for its prosperity and divinity. Fortunate to have visited this temple and had darshan here. The priests and Namboodris serving there are well trained disciplined and syatematic in thier daily rituals. Such types of interviews would encourage so many youngsters to aim for similar activities.
