Those shirts that you saw at San Francisco airport, those are way cheaper at China town. If you ever have a chance to go to san francisco, you should get the souvenirs there.

My wife took United Airlines to and from Manila and SFO last November. She reported that while her flight both ways were full, check in was painless and fast, plane was clean, the flight attendants were attentive and very efficient, and we both appreciated the fact the plane was on time!

Hi, my flight was full as well, we're a bit delayed leaving SFO but I was surprised that whole flight time was reduced one hour which is great. I do appreciate the flight attendants too, the flight was smooth I don't remember any turbulence, but I just wished the food was better or maybe I should have ordered their special meal instead. But aside from the food, its great! I saved some buck on this flight :)

I have to agree with you, that when it comes to food, PAL has the best tasting foods served. Back in the 80's and early 90's when I used to fly back and forth between Manila and SF, I've used Pan Am, Continental Airlines, Northwest Airlines - now all defunct, and PAL. I remember that come meal time, just smelling the aroma of PAL's food being heated, wakes me up during the flight and makes my mouth water. It's really that good.😋 I stopped my regular visit to PI in 1997. Made another visit in 2006. And that was it.

How are the seats, are they cramped,? yrs ago I flew with United and the seats were uncomfortable, the flight attendants were old geezers that were unfriendly

Yeah they are still actually cramped, unlike my experience with economy of Japan Airlines. Some of the flight attendants were friendly, I can't say most of them though.

@@cherryvlogscanada any Asian airlines are great. My favorite is Royal Brunei Airlines. American companies are terrible

@@cherryvlogscanada this is important info. direct to manila and cheaper means nothing if the seats are awful and the flight attendants are snotty. i will spend the bit of extra on a different airline just to get a good overall experience. it's as if we're saying to United "here take my money and give me a sub-par experience please."

When the New Manila International Airport opens, I think all of the other United Airlines hub airports will follow through with their direct flights to Manila using NMIA going as far as Washington DC (IAD).

Any tips for traveling like luggage’s and hand carry.. bag back and belt bag.. like kilos/lbs and also height .. pwede po ba yon lbc box regular boxes po???

UA allows 2 check-in baggage with at least 23kg each, they don't weight carry on then one personal bag like backpack or purse. For the belt bag, in case its addition to your personal bag, upon check-in you may wanna keep the belt bag in your backpack for the meantime so you won't be charged for additional carry on. Are you allowed to open any windows on the flight to get some fresh air?? I just feel like it must get very nasty breathing everyone else's air. Thank you in advance for replying.

Oh it's a NO-NO to open anything while in flight because the plane is a pressured cabin, do so if you want to be sucked out of the plane along others around you, it will pose real danger 🚨. Maybe a good alternative for you would be to wear an N95 mask.

The fixed rate taxi/airport shuttle you took for P1050 is right beside the Grab booth? I may have to do that as well especially if its a long wait for Grab. Going to BGC as well and I'm taking the same United flight from SFO. Thank you for all the information

Hello, did you choose economy or economy preferred seating (extra cost)? There no standard seats left for party of 3 so now I have to look into paying extra for the preferred seating which is standard legroom.

Hi, I chose economy only as there were available seating and I was solo. Yup I noticed some seats for UA is set for preferred seating with extra cost. Did you have to pay for all 3 seats?

Yup, I have a reason why I decided not to shove my camera while boarding and cabin operations, there were certain important group of people in my flight I didn't want to be caught by my camera and I deliberately did not mention because they have nothing to do with my topic. You have a keen observation though ;)

Thanks for sharing. I'm also in SFO and plan to visit MNL next year. Any reason why you chose United over PAL? Nakikita ko na parang mas mataas ang presyo sa United. Also, anong terminal ang United pagdating mo sa Manila? Kasi ang alam ko ay mas malapit sa Terminal 3 ang Belmont Hotel. Thanks and enjoy!

Hi, when I was looking for flight end of October, UA was the cheapest I found at 1600 cad, maybe it was still at "inaugural" price or probably November tickets are generally cheaper than Dec. PAL at that time was at 2500 range. United Airlines uses terminal 3, sakto there's a Manila Foot Bridge that leads to the area where Belmont Hotel is.

Nope they weren’t they didn’t even weigh my carry on and personal bag but they reiterate to have just one personal bag, so they suggested that I put my funny pack inside my backpack when I board the plane.

hi, yung sa SFO to MLA flight nde naman. Pero yung pabalik ko, MLA-SFO-Edmonton, kelangan epickup luggage then lipat ng terminal for the next flight. You can check po yung video ko about my return flight, complete details po ng experience.

Plus size passenger friendly po Kaya ang economy seats?. Flight ko yan next month from MNL to SFO. Nagowworry ako baka pgbayarin ako ng extra seat.

Hi, in my flight from SFO to MLA there was one plus size passenger seating quite near me and I saw he has taken one seat only so what they did they folded up the outer arm chair of the seat so the guy would have more room, he was seating aisle side by the way. So I'm guessing since he was taking once seat only, so probably no extra payment needed.

Yung sa kin when i was booking one checkin only ang free 23kg tas $75 usd yung second checkin, i think because air canada yung isang connecting flight ko. But if all united airlines, 2 free checkin bags 23kg each.

Hi Jonathan, hindi na kasi I used Canadian passport kaya hindi na required. I think pag yung PH passport ang need pa mag-apply for transit visa.

Hi David, thanks for watching :) yup other asian airlines din gamit ko talaga, pero medyo abrupt kasi yung decision ko this time ng paguwi kaya medyo mahal na yung airfare, nagkataon nakita ko UA tas mura. Kaso nakakapagod talaga yung 27 hours 😅

Hi @@lexisrivera7376 yup need ng transit visa kapag PH passport holder, meron ding tinatawag na Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) though not sure yung exact details. Sa case ko CA passport gamit ko so hindi na required.

I’m just trying to correct, LUGGAGES is not correct. Luggage without an “s” is correct whether one or many pieces. Anyway, before you ended this video you mentioned that you will do a video about your United Airlines flight, a review. Did you have a review of your flight?

I decided to make a summary video instead at the end of my trip since I'll be taking UA going back but there's going a bit difference in route so I thought would be good to include that too at once.
