EXPERIENCING 12 FLAVORS of FANTA | TASTING IMPORTED FANTASIES
For those who like to try exotic drinks, here's a cool challenge, trying out flavors from the USA, EUROPE and other places in the world.
Some are good and some are horrible. See what they are!
Fanta's story: At that time, due to sanctions that prevented the entry of products in that country, it was impossible for the Coca-Cola plant to continue operating due to the lack of base concentrates for the manufacture of soft drinks. On that occasion, Max Keith, head of operations at Coca-Cola Germany, allowed the creation of a new product, in an attempt to avoid the suspension of activities at the factory, thus creating a drink that was sold exclusively on the German market during World War II World. The product, in turn, changed according to the nature of the ingredients that were available in the sanctioned country, such as the leftovers from the manufacture of cider (apple fiber) or even the by-product from the manufacture of cheese (whey). The first flavor with the Fanta brand was malt, while the orange flavor, which is the best known and distributed worldwide, was only launched in 1955 by Italian Coca-Cola and, in the beginning, the soda versions were sweetened with saccharin, later passing to beet sugar.
