Because he knew they wouldn't get out and would be caught again. If you watched mha season 4, you must have seen that Eri couldn't escape either. Even though Izuku tried many times in Lovely, which is the 4th episode of my videos, he couldn't escape. He knew/thought that Overhaul would catch them again. So he didn't want to endanger Eri (since Overhaul was constantly threatening to encapsulate her as well)
