First I discovered your superpowers with the volca, now I see the magic you two made here. Congratulations for the amazing jam, you two are an inspiration for us beginners. :) A big hug for both!

Just discovered your channel, intrigued with a sampler and experimental aufio. Ive been dragging pedal boards, open reel and large performance submixer around. Its not always sustainable. Im purely analogue (plus a little Audacity editing), I struggle with modern tech especially dropfown menu diving. Im trying to assess the simplest sampler, feature wise and learning curve time. A comprehensive fx bank would be nice. PS classic early Musique Concrete influences going on here, building a track from a few simple sax sounds, great stuff.

You put the 404 to good use :) Did you sample while you were improvising? Or did you use presampled sax sounds?

I recorded a couple of pretty random sax sounds and pitch shifted them to make bass and some harmonies. Then we started jamming :)

Yes. Pianos, guitars, violins and trumpets don’t have menus to dive. I like to keep my menu diving to a minimum too.
