Secret Rendezvous by Experimental Products, Michael Gross and Mark Wilde. Michael left this world, peacefully in his sleep of natural causes, Dec. 4, 2016. He's joined Mark for their otherworldly journey. Michael leaves so many family and friends who love him, and we know he was thankful and grateful for all of you. He leaves us with sad hearts, and tears, but such great music!!

Only just discovered this song, but been a fan of this style of music since about 1983 when I was 4 years old. Used to listen to the radio a lot at the time here in the UK. Didn't understand the lyrics of course, but just loved the atmosphere of the music.

1979-1982, Latest time when an exciting future started to show it's awe-inspiring features, both technical and otherwise. The positive expectations, the feelings of wonder were previously felt in the first half of the 1960s (space race, "eternal good economy ahead" etc.). Later some of that feeling appeared in the .com boom in 1999. Now technology and society are accelerating even more, but the sense of excitement of the future is completely gone.

I can honestly say I really liked this album. Especially when your path cross with Mark Wilde. I was introduced to him by friends that lived in the same apartment building near Broad & Spruce St in Philly in the 80's.

As Michael's sister, I got to meet Mark and other nice people during this time in the Philly music scene. On a trip to South Street, Mark and I ate at one of the little restaurants there. We talked for an hour, and I enjoyed every minute, but have never been able to remember what we talked about...

@@ajs41 Sorry for the late reply. Mark Wilde passed away in Dec. 1986, just as the band was gaining national and international recognition. Michael did his best to continue the band, but it was difficult without Mark. DJ Hell added Glowing in the Dark to one of his compilations. We lost Michael in December 2016. They are buried only a few plots apart in All Saints Cemetery in Wilmington, Delaware. One of the musicians who sang after Mark was gone, says that he plays EP/Michael's music and plays along live, in various clubs on the East Coast. So glad for KZbin. Listening to the songs reminds me of the summer evenings in Philly, when I would sit in Michael's music room in his row house near what is now the Northern Liberties neighborhood. He'd play the latest songs he, Mark, and the band were working on, and often we'd then go to Philly clubs, like the Kennel Club or Revival. So much fun, and glad you like the music.
