Experimenting Reed Pens - An Ancient Drawing Tool

Reed pens have been used as a drawing instrument throughout history. These organic pens have a rich history dating back to ancient civilizations. In this video, I experimented with reed pens to connect with artists centuries ago.

Its actually a good pen, I have been spoilt with modern alternatives that are faster. Haha

I'm new too in Reed pen and yes hard to control and slow, do you think if i soak it in oil day or 2 before using will make less absorbant for ink so the ink flaw will be smoother?

I don't know if that would work. It might damage your pen or cause more issues with your ink flow. I would suggest just dipping your pen in the ink more often.
