Experimenting with Fondant and the Clay Extruder. Unexpected Results!

These little experiments are what keep cake decorating fun for me. They keep the element of surprise alive for me. Also, playing around with cake making materials opens up my imagination and often times, the happy accidents lead to more inspiration. I hope by watching my tutorials and videos, you feel inspired to play too!

Hii 😊 You sure did !! I just love seeing all your creations!! Sorry I hadn't got to comment until now... and yes I figured it was gonna be inside lol Maybe it'd work the way we're hoping if you put it in more of a tornado shape (prob with the biggest part red at the end you start twisting from at that end) but still wrapping it like you did. Like start with a red cone, then wrap orange then yellow ect. And maybe a tiny bit thicker. Might only get 3 or 4 colors in the extruder that way but atleast it's seeing if that'll give the results you want. Ohhhh and if you have a drill I have seen that you can hook it to the extruder and you don't have to tear up your hands/knuckles and it's a lot faster too... I'll see if I can find the video. It might require attaching a piece but the drill basically does all the work and all you have to do is fill the tube. 😉 Ok here is one of the YT videos.
