As someone who has eaten more Wagyu than I care to admit and as someone who like steaks medium rare to rare, I have to say that altough people make huge fusses about "omg neeever overcook Wagyu, its a waste for such an expensive meat" ... it really doesn't matter: Normal steaks turn into leather, Wagyu stays smooth, it just changes flavour. Cook it any way you want, or don't cook it at all, it will be amazing..

I absolutely can not express to anyone of you how absolutely delicious it was. I had saved up and bought the most expensive cut they had with the chef's recommendation. My friends got the one tier lower. We of course shared. both were astonishingly good. Imagine the best steak you've ever had in your life, but imagine it being even better and so tinder it truly melts like butter and I'm not exaggerating. 12/10 would recommend. you can sear it longer or have it seared longer if you want the char which is also incredible.
