I figured out years ago his secret to throw in the spinning back kick just by watching the position of his foot when he hit his opponents. I noticed that his knee and his toes were facing down at the floor that’s when I realize when he spins he’s throwing the cake differently than the sidekick fashion that I was originally taught. I went against my teachers advice and always threw my back kick Like Benny did. He also talks his Waze and his arms in a corkscrew like fashion to put even more devastating power into the cake. So glad that he finally taught on something I always suspected. Benny is the best!

I was kicked in the groin three times.... all doing back kicks the traditional (Tang So Do) way. I see the wisdom of Benny's technique... It's not as 'beautiful' but it's way better if you think the martial in martial arts means anything.

This information is GOLD. At least for people able to do a "spinning back kick...PROPERLY". :) To think every one has been tought really to through a spining side-kick. :) True. Everyone assumes becasue you're sending the kick behind you it's a "bak-kick". Even instructors....black belts teaching lower belts...heh...kicking ability is so vital. Making TKD essential and yet I think overlooked as a "useful MA".... Want to sign up for MMA? Spend 4-5 years in TKD first. Get that black belt. And maybe study western boxing at the same time. Best foundation IMHO. Then pickup your ground game from a good MMA gym. Only need to know so many BJJ moves...
