After a lot of confusion at seemingly mis-tiered songs. I've concluded that Harmonix only tiers based on how hard a song is to pass, and doesn't take into account difficulty of isolated sections at all. That being said, there's still a lot of mis-tiered songs in my opinion.

the ION Drum Rocker is very customizable. you can switch up pads by simply disconnecting and reconnecting them and changing the wire set up.

I like the mid tiers as well, because there are a lot of good songs in there that are not only fun to listen to, but watch. Also, I don't own Rock band, so it's nice to see what I'm missing.

I think harder FC's would be nice to see. I enjoy a lot of Someguy's Expert+ FC's. But I also like the songs you pick to do which are basically just fun to listen to. So keep on doing what you think that would entertain us.

Sometimes gold stars require you to use a path that isn't the basic of activating every one in a row. IBite made this video pretty soon after this song had been released as DLC, so I don't think anyone had devised a path yet. Also, the gold star cut-off is just a calculation from the other star cut-offs, and sometimes there are anomalies. ...And Justice For All wasn't gold star-able even with an FC - but Harmonix updated it. Sorry for the massive comment.

I think you should definately post videos of all your FC's. You know, its interesting to see it be done, whether its tier 1 or tier 4 doesnt really matter, its shows your skills to adapt to all different types of songs i suppose :)

The chorus for Give It All and Prayer Of The Refugee are the same speed, except that overdrive in Give It All drains at half-speed. That's also what makes Give It All rather easy to gold star. As for tier 4, I'd personally prefer it to say 4/6.

how does the whole tier thing work? how does one categorize songs? I understand the higher the tier the harder the song and so forth but how do you know that a song is 4th tier or 6th tier?
