He also forgot to tell the emerald trade is very hermetic and they inflate the prices often way to much, if you’re a tourist and go down there expect to pay 4 times or more for any stone or get scammed by a glass dealer, also he forgot to tell that 98 percent of the bussiness is gathered in a couple big fishes an American gem company who bought most of the mines used to be of victors and he also forgot to tell that the same big guys often inflate the price so they can do other bussiness stuff on the low !!!! All the guys you see walking on the street are barqueros most of them are just tying to make ends meet but they fish the stones put of the River on an ilegal way because the big companies and the big fishes have alll the market for themselves.

He didn't say what the last one was. Glass? Or a synthetic emerald?

The other guy is an ass it is a doublet, meaning it was made from 2 pieces glued together with a green epoxy, most likely goshenite the clear version of emerald or beryl, could also be a real low quality gem on top and glass on bottom but very low quality pieces, but they have the same inclusions that a real natural emerald would have because it is but just very low quality and almost worthless. But you can see the bubbles in the epoxy and if you look at the side of it you can see where it was made from 2 pieces glued together.
