question, os, is your HX Effects pedal set up as a send effect with your audio interface?

No, it's just for the sax. Sax pickup runs direct into the HX. I'm splitting off a dry signal within the HX (using its FX loop send output) so I can get a dry signal into the interface for recording, as well as the main out with the effects on.
