Good talk about movies! One of my favorites is REC. The first one... looks like a virus but that supernatural touch in the end is so awesome.
@bobbyrebholz21833 ай бұрын
@@igorkirdeika4765 Yo, Rec is terrifying! I actually like both the Spanish and English versions. I think one of the scariest parts of the series is in part 2 when they hit the ceiling and that devil baby falls to the floor.

This helped me start drawing characters more often, and I think that I'm gaining a new respect for character designers, and I have a new desire to come up with characters myself. Also, if you do another video on combining animals here's a suggestion. blood worm - crocodile - Harpy Eagle/steller's sea eagle

I noticed your grip on the pen is different from mine-- this is a good thing, I was previously trying to scribble with a writing grip rather than a scribble grip (I named these on the fly), which didn't work because a writing grip more controlled and precise (why it's used for writing). as soon as I relaxed a little and let the pen looser, scribbling became a lot easier. (I figured I'd share this in case someone else has the same problem) also thanks for the awesome videos, I love doodling along whenever your channel crosses my path :)

I really appreciate your ideas, especially your flexibility within your area of expertise. You mentioned that painting only feels truly fulfilling when there’s freedom, and that limitations can diminish personal satisfaction. That resonates with me. I once asked a friend, who is also an artist, about his thoughts on following specific structures like knots in his work. He gave me an intriguing response: "For me, following the structure of a knot feels too unnatural to my natural painting style." Do you share a similar perspective or experience?
@bobbyrebholz21833 ай бұрын
Yes. I embrace scribbling and thumbnailing. Once you get over the need to have everything look perfect, you'll start creating your best work.

Bobby!!!!! Important point: Your rule about the jaw having to fit the length of the teeth isn’t always true because of Vipers. Their fangs grow up to 2 inches and they actually fold backwards to allow the viper to close its mouth. So this could be possible with *some* creatures! Just saying!!!
@bobbyrebholz21833 ай бұрын
Vipers are definitely an exception but the skull still needs room for the teeth to grow from.

Just make sure you stick with an uploading schedule and you buckle down into a style that best suits your audience. At first, it's hard. But keep posting because it does snowball. Bottom line is to just help people.

@@bobbyrebholz2183 Thank you for your response. I’ve always switched between Horror & Fantasy and may need to hone into one style as you say. I enjoy live streaming but find these both strenuous yet enjoyable and it’s difficult to sustain high levels of energy daily doing this. I will move into posting drawing tutorials I think, as I could form a more realistic, strict posting schedule that way. Thank you for taking the time to reply and for your guidance. ~ Mataus ~

I dont like the girl vershion of a "monster".. its wayy too pretty and not scary. Guys dont draw women properly, its the most generic fake women face that keeps being used. Maybe add a crooked nose far appart eyes a mole strong lines round the mouth and eyes. Something. Id say please studdy older womens faces/ eveerydsy womeens faces not models who have been photoshoped.
@bobbyrebholz21833 ай бұрын
Why would she need to look like a monster? I feel people don't study enough faces to know there are different kinds.
