This was an excellent presentation & demonstration. Well done Jeff, you nailed it. It was also good to show a fixed position pipe weld - it's more like you'd get in the field. When you noche a hole in pipe as a high point do you just weld over it with filler or do you fuse it the same way you’re welding the root? A little confused as to how you close that gap up when you file it down @jeffray

I like to place my ground where I can. snatch it off when stopping . That way I can keep the torch on the weld for a few seconds to prevent discoloring and prevent fish 👀
