This was an excellent presentation & demonstration. Well done Jeff, you nailed it. It was also good to show a fixed position pipe weld - it's more like you'd get in the field. Only one (not complaint) suggestion - to get a good look at the puddle control and joining in the welds. Jason, get this young fella back please. Stay safe and well :)

When you noche a hole in pipe as a high point do you just weld over it with filler or do you fuse it the same way you’re welding the root? A little confused as to how you close that gap up when you file it down @jeffray

HI, very interesting video... but could you share links and references where to find the parts you are using on the video like the triclamp style purge plug, purge plug, I-lines Teflon gasket as well as the fitting for argon line, quick connect probably a good idea to put that in the description

I like to place my ground where I can. snatch it off when stopping . That way I can keep the torch on the weld for a few seconds to prevent discoloring and prevent fish 👀
