I think its cause the smite damage changes things. Cavs tend to debuff normal attacks, Archers have skills that react to skill damage. So with no skill damage from smite commanders at least 1 skill doesn’t activate for most archers

No, you dont have anyone else to Pair scipio and even if you do you would have to gear that march with a second infantry equipment

Guan does way more damage. I did a Guan/Scipi+Liu/Alex Vs Huo/Beli+Nevsky/Joan and the Infantry won the duel. I want to see 3v3 duels/5v5 duels. Most definitely won't be changing my setup or swapping Guan for this commander. It's mid like Huo and Belisarius.

I got screwed too. Seems Lilith has made it more difficult to gain his sculptures. I have never had to spend over 30k in gems just to unlock a commander in wheel of fortune.

what does william add to murderball over guan or alex? seems like he is good for 1v1 or maybe a single march but lc, alex, skippy and guan all add to the murderball with aoes and william does not.

William has aoe on active and expertiese. He adds health and movespeed and damage amplification on the new skilltree and his 3rd skill which should significantly raise the power of LCs aoe.

@@TWODICE11 i mean the aoe health reduction from scipio prime and the aoe silence from guan are very strong in their own right and alex shield is stronger and does not rely on your enemy bringing slows. But With Liu in the meta, the probability you get hit by an aoe slow is quite high. But for single inf march, i am not sure if its worth replacing scipio, and for 2 you can just keep guan scipio as 2nd march.

He’s not good enough to replace Alex. IMHO Alex gives aoe debuf and shields for allies. WW is just for duels and not even best duelling commander, no benefits in open field at all… Disappointed
