He has definitely inspired me. Every year at his pit bike race my son and I get to spend the day with him and I am reminded not to give up. I myself woke up from brain Surgery without feeling from the waist down. I was content on what I had gotten back. After being around him I’ve began pushing for more. Thank you Phil for being you.

crashed my street bike on july 31, 2022 because of some lady who made a left turn in front of me with no blinker last minute. i ended up needing to be airlifted to a trauma center where they medically induced me into a coma and started operating on me. i ruptured my spleen which caused me to have internal bleeding, broke my left femur, right arm, and tore all 4 ligaments in my right knee. i was in the hospital for a month and rehab for 2 months before i can finally go home in a wheelchair. it is now 2 years later and i completely relearned how to walk and even ended up throwing my leg back over after rebuilding the bike. this is such a happy & motivational story, i am so so happy for you!!! keep pushing forward, you are amazing!!!

I still remember being about 13 just starting to get into dirt bikes and I would go to the local shop and vacuum and clean up the work shop in return for the life lessons on how to pull them apart and fix them.
