Here's my routine. I scored 93.9% in my 10th class and i only started studying 5 months before my boards examinations. I wasted more than half of my year and started studying seriously from september. I stopped going to school when my mid term exams started and only went to school on exams and practicals, i did not wake up early but rather i slept late 2-3 AM and then wake up at 11 AM. My routine was simple wake up at 11 get fresh eat breakfast do all the daily things and then start studying at 2 PM. Then studying till 7 PM then to do some physical activity i played badminton with my friends. 7-8:30 i played badminton and then after coming home i ate my dinner and spend some time with family,talked to my friends,play games etc.and then again start studying from 10 pm and then studying from 10 PM to 2AM. Also one more thing boards exam will be easier than your school examinations like pre boards and mid term trust me and do not give up!!! stay motivated and be confident! thank you.

There is a big overlooked problem with most children. Its less apparent with you, since you only have 4 hours of extra classes, but not everyone needs 4-5 hours outside of school in various institutions trying to study from teachers. Often times, this kills a ton of time needed for self study. I know a friend who literally does not go to any tution/coaching centre. Literally puts in minimal effort and still does pretty well. Its not important to study from a teacher. If you are good enough to read english yourself, you can READ the material from straight up Ncert and not need a teacher to teach you the whole chapter (Albeit, it is way less likely to happen). Spending even 3 hours of self study consistently and effectively for most, is enough to get the results usually expected from most families. Coaching centres can enhance this, but focusing to much on that and not on yourself is ultimately what kills the results of most.
