Bottega Veneta Getaway Small Top Handle Bag and a Celine Boogie Bag!

Apologies about the audio issues. I'm picking up some add ons that will help keep the mike straight on Monday. Just a quick bag update. The Bottega bag which looks gorgeous is going back, I just can't cope with the zips. Even though that will put money back into my bag budget I'm staying on the bench. I wish it was upholstered though 🤨

The limerick start was quite a delight, Creative and fun, it set things right. The Proenza PS1 with its fabulous hue, Caught my eye, such a stunning view. The Bottega bag, a gorgeous sight, Though those tricky zips gave a slight fright. Caleb's Boogie call was perfectly wise, A Celine find that truly surprised. For just $300, what a score, Can't wait to see what else is in store. Your lives and vlogs, always a treat, Entertaining and relatable, they can't be beat! 😂😂😂😂

Hi Kaz, I do love the shape and style of the Bottega Veneta bag. Unfortunate about the zipper though. I have a small mini flap bag, fabulous quality and all and I really also love the Intrecciato weave rather than the larger wider weave. That Celine was a fabulous find! Enjoy your bags. PS I must try that little shoe polish trick you mentioned....

Hi Grace, it's such a shame about the zips, I just couldn't cope with them. I try and find a 'polish' that is more of a cream because that lets the leather 'breathe'. I just apply it to the bits where the colour has rubbed away. If it's just a very small area ordinary shoe polish will do. I usually apply it with a Qtip so it doesn't spread the polish around too much.

I love your gloves, Kaz! Where are they from? Also, your Boogie is beautiful. For the scratches, leather conditioner and buffing with a horse hair brush after the conditioner has fully soaked in should remove the scratches. The thing about using shoe polish on leather handbags is it suffocates the leather and won't let it accept conditioner anymore so the leather eventually dries out and cracks.

Hi, the gloves wre from Etsy many years ago. You're absolutely right about the shoe polish which is why I only touch up where there is a loss of colour. I don't use standard shoe polish, it's just what I call it, it's actually a coloured creme. I love my bags way too much to ruin them. I found the Etsy seller byYuliyaKhort it looks like she's still selling the gloves 🥰

The Bottega bag is gorgeous! My fav color-just gorgeous. The PS1 color is also gorgeous! And the Celine was also beautiful-loved the color. You did so well with all three unless the zip becomes too much on the Bottega.

Thank you, unfortunately the Bottega has to go back. The zips are just as bad as they were on the Jodie which I also returned. What is it with Bottega and zips. You'd think they would have good zips for the price point of their bags 🙄

A wonderful video - you have a way with words, so beautifully spoken. As a bag lover, I do not believe there is ever purse peace so do be gentle on yourself. I am sure you know but the boogie bag was designed by Michael kors when he designed for celine, i also adore the botega but zips no way.

I remember him designing for Celine but I didn't know much about their bags around the time the Boogie was released. We were busy renovating an old property in rural France at the time and didn't have the internet for quite a while. The Bottega is being returned the zips are atrocious 🙄
