I mean it’s fine for him to explain that Jacques was nice to him while he was in the villa, however I don’t think you should defend someone’s inexcusable actions and poor treatment of other people just because they were nice to you personally. Like it was mentioned in the interview, a lot of guys who are a “lad’s lad” are good to their male friends but are manipulative and disrespectful to girls, and a lot of it has to do with misogyny, which doesn’t surprise me considering the questionable comments Jacques has sometimes made about some girls on the show. Regardless Charlie is obviously a good guy, however I do think he is a bit blinded to how poor Jacques’ character is.

Whenever producers leave out certain things its because they want to illustrate a certain narrative. It's so calculated. For some reason they're protecting Andrew, probably because they're trying to portray the narrative that Tasha is the villain and Andrew is the angel. I guess if they showed what he was really like it would go against the storyline. As a viewer it literally makes no sense because we want to see the drama! This is what made Big Brother so great. EVERYTHING was shown, the good, the bad and the ugly.

I agree he’s a great interviewer but there’s a difference- here the islanders are comfortable - there’s only a few of them in the room and no audience, big camera crew, national tv etc. If Murad hosted after sun in the same conditions then the islanders would be as closed as they are with Laura whitmore. It’s the environment that ruins the atmosphere there, not so much the interviewer I think (although she does make stuff extra awkward)

I think Charlie just wants to stay true to his experience. I get that Jacques is a piece of work but i dont think i would be much different in his position. Going on love island making friends who have only shown me good sides of them (no fights with others, no arguments with others...) to then suddenly seeing a different side to them on TV? I would just assume myself that there must be more to the story and what not. It has to be hard doing these interviews. I think Charlies answer would have been different had there been actual fights in the villa when he was still there, but the only fight and argument he got to see was the one between Ekin Su and Jay

Not remotely surprised about the coco revelations. It’s clear she’s a nasty piece of work, some people were praising her for outing what her and Andrew got up to but she only did that out of spite and was embarrassed the guy she was using to get in the villa then got rid of her first. Also remember Davide said something was off about her and she was desperate to get in the villa and Dami agreed. There were no awkward pause ...no interruptions, and on top of that you gave equal time to all of them...no one was sitting idle there just listening... I think because in general he is a normal person who maybe looking for a fun. experience than fame. It’s not easy at all the be on a reality tv dating show and let alone a raunchy show like Love Island so that’s why maybe he appeared as socially awkward lol but he seems lovely .

Andrew and Coco’s connection is only physical, they really didn’t have an emotional connection from what we’ve seen. Just my assumption, I wonder if he went the easy route going for Coco as he knew he’d be going back to Tasha & possibly didn’t want to drag Jaz in to it. I think she was lucky to get out of that one.

I don't think Jay was seriously into any of the Casa girls tbh, I think he just enjoyed Chyna's company the most. Jay has also expressly said he doesn't want a younger woman and alot of the Casa girls particularly Molly seemed young, loud and wreckless. While he may of had a flirt with Molly I don't think he would've taken her seriously. Also she has a bit of a cheap blow up doll look to her lol, Chyna looks more classy, like a young Naomi.

He’s an analyst and a very smart man, the only reason he went for Paige over ekin su is because ekin n him were in the bottom 3. And then the moment paige was single again he left chyna. Jazmin seems so defensive of her Love Island experience. She kept boasting about how she was the life of the party in the villa which wasn't shown. Girl its a reality show that thrives on views, wouldn't they want to give you screen time if that was the case? I think she thought she was more fun than she really was. It's so cringey that she keeps exaggerating how Andrew said he manifested her. She probably asked him what his type was and he said short, tanned brunette, which is true. To me she seems like she exaggerates the truth. She also seems extremely territorial. Getting into a screaming match with Coco over kissing Andrew on Day 1. It's Love Island not Jerry Springer. No one forced Andrew to choose Coco, he probably just sensed Jazmin's confrontational side and wanted nothing to do with it.
